Betsson receives green light to operate in Greece

Betsson has announced that it was granted licenses for online gaming and betting operations in Greece. Following the approval of the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) the online operator will be launching its flagship brand, Betsson, in the coming weeks.

Betsson has received two of the new HGC licenses to operate in Greece, which are valid for an initial period of seven years; one license for games of chance (casino, slots) and another one for betting (sportsbook).

Launching at Betsson.gr, (live) casino games, sports betting, and virtual sports will be offered

Betsson.gr will come reveal a tailored product offering with the Greek players in mind. The Betsson+ game will go live, which will enable players to create their own bet on the football player they choose in all big events this summer. Betsson.gr will also offer dedicated customer support services in the native language.
